Delta POS Restaurant Features

  • Provides full system security.
  • The user enters a username and a password to get the authority assigned to him/her only.
  • The main screen consists of three parts.
  • Part one: the display area that displays the family of items which represents the main categories when you touch it, it displays all the items included in this category if you touch one item it will be listed in part two 
  • Part two: to display the item list also to display the key numbers.
  • Part three: displays all the function keys the cashier might need.

  • The system can deal with all table transactions such as:
  • Table Cash transaction.
  • Table Credit transaction.
  • The system can deal with all Home delivery transactions such as:
  • Home Delivery Cash transaction.
  • Home Delivery Credit transaction.
  • The system can deal with all Takeaway transactions such as:
  • Takeaway Cash transaction.
  • Takeaway Credit transaction.
  • The system manages the on the house transactions
  • The system handles the tips calculation for the credit card transactions.  
  • The system handles the process of granting customer discounts.
  • The system controls the process of “close day” accurately.

  • The system provides reports that show the sales during the day
  • The user can view at any time the opened checks.
  • The system can print the shift report to view all the transactions done during the day.
  • The system can transfer the shift to another cashier while the checks are still open.

Administration Features  

  • The user can easily create a new database, and customize the customer printed receipts.
  • The system allows defining different permission levels for each set of users.

  • The system provides the ability to setup the basic data about the main items, sub items and tables.
  • The system provides the ability to set up all kinds of taxes and Credit Cards. 
  • The system creates electronic records for the delivery boy's data.

 

  • The system deals with voucher transactions through the voucher menu (Adding items – issuing items – returned items – transferred items).

 

  • The system enables the user to keep and maintain customer data which contains customer personal data, customer balances, advanced balances and also records the customer payments to prepare the customer balance statement.
  • The system provides a lot of helpful reports which can be summarized as follows:
  • Main department report, sub departments, items, items’ balance, prices, inventory reports, customer reports, issued invoices and the returned invoices, purchases, payments, sales statistics, voucher reports.

Delta's POS restaurant interfaces with the following modules: accounts receivables, accounts payable and general ledger.
